How long does it take to make your earrings?
Production time depends on the individual piece. If they are one-of-a-kind, each pair can take 8-16hours. If they are smaller earrings, it can take 1-3hours. Beadwork is a slow and steady process that I love to get lost in.
How long do you beaded portraits take to create?
My beaded portraits take 60-200hours to create. They are truly a labor of love.
What metals do you use for your jewelry?
During my time working as a metalsmith jeweler, I fell in love with working with silver and gold. All jewelry items are made with sterling silver or 14K gold-fill metal. These metals are high quality, long-lasting, and are good for those of us who have sensitive ears.
What other materials are used?
I use seed beads, fabric, and vegan suede for my jewelry designs. I do my best to support local bead stores, recycle fabrics and be good to the environment in all of my studio practices.
What types of beads do you use?
All of my beads are made out of glass. They are tiny and high-quality beads that are made in Japan. They come in a beautiful range of shapes, sizes, and colors.
Do you make commissioned earrings or artwork?
I selectively accept commissions throughout the year - they are fun to create and are a good challenge. Please send me a message to see if your idea and budget aligns. I do not accept commissions that request a recreation of the work of another artist or culture.
Where is your studio?
My studio is located in Austin, TX.
Do you make all of your jewelry and art?
Yes, I am a one-woman team. Every piece that you order was proudly and lovingly made by me.
Are you an environmentally-friendly business?
Yes, I have taken great care to create a business that gives back to the environment and doesn’t waste mother earth’s resources. My cellophane bags and stickers are compostable, my packaging is often reused, my shipping labels are printed on scrap paper and I try to reuse and reduce everything that comes into my studio. Although there is still a lot of work to do, I am improving my business every year to be more mindful our of beautiful planet.

I started my business in 2017. It was a very exciting time!
How long does shipping take?
All items are shipped in 1-3 business days unless otherwise stated on the product description. Since some items are made to order, I need additional time for creating your item. If you need your item faster, send me a message and I can arrange for pick-up in Austin or expedited shipping. All items are sent with tracking.
